Calling all Colorado-based Coffee Roasters
Special Opportunity for Roasting, Promotion, Sales, & Partnership
Locally Haiti is a locally-led organization that invests in rural communities in Haiti. We have worked with over 100 smallholder farms to promote economic growth in the region and promote environmental conservation efforts.
One of our latest initiatives connects small coffee farmers with the international marketplace, providing new opportunities for both coffee producers and roasters. We are currently recruiting a Colorado-based partner who seeks a roast as flavorful as it is meaningful.
AWARD-WINNING FLAVOR PROFILE
Beans are sourced from mountainous regions of Haiti (approximately 1300 MASL). When roasted to a Full City, the beans reveal a black currant flavor with notes of amaretto, orange peel, and sweet nuts. Should you partner with CHP, you'll be given the chance to roast and grade several options from several locations. While we've learned a good deal over the past few years, we want to learn from you!
ACCESS TO 5,000 COLORADO-BASED COFFEE CONSUMERS
Colorado Haiti Project has a 30 year history of strong foundational relationships in the Colorado metro area. Our eager and passionate donors, volunteers, and brand ambassadors regularly engage with our initiatives in our email newsletter, Facebook and Instagram pages, faith-based gatherings, twice-annual fundraisers, and local fairs and markets.
SOCIALLY CONSCIOUS BUSINESS IMPACT
CHP prides itself on the trusting and long-lasting relationships it has nurtured with coffee producers over decades. Coffee agriculture creates thousands of sustainable jobs in Haiti, a country that was once the world’s third largest producer of coffee. In sourcing your coffee beans from CHP, we ensure that your partnership is re-invested directly into the hands of farmers at fair trades or even higher rates, contributing to sustainable livelihoods in Haiti.
