We support locally led programs that catalyze community development and improve the overall well-being of families in the Nippes region of Haiti.
Education
St. Paul's School was founded in 1989 with the support of Locally Haiti, and over the past three decades the school has provided a quality education to over 5,000 children. St. Paul's proudly offers programs in agriculture and girls' empowerment, courses on entrepreneurship, and an early childhood education center.

Agriculture & Food Security
In close collaboration with local farmers and agronomists, we support community-led agriculture and conservation initiatives that help farms thrive. These programs include an agricultural program at St. Paul's School, direct support for cooperative models in animal husbandry and seed saving, training for farmers, and an innovative program that provides agricultural resources to community health workers.

Community Health
We reinforce health structures in Petit Trou by providing direct assistance to the public health system and supporting the work of 40 community health workers. These women and men work with the local clinic to provide vaccinations, health education, and front-line emergency response. We’ve also recently completed construction of a transformational new health facility, in collaboration with the local health department and community based organizations. Learn more about this project and see construction photos here.

Girls’ Empowerment & Mentoring
More than 250 girls and young women currently participate in our Girls' Empowerment and Mentoring (GEM) program, which provides safe spaces, mentorship, education, and access to a network of supportive women and men. Local activists are trained and supported in organizing campaigns around gender equality and reduction of gender based violence.
