Examples of How Your Gift Helps!
Agriculture Training at the new hospital
Amount: $50
A gift of $50 supports sustainable agriculture and food security programs in Petit Trou. Food production is a vital component to a healthy future, and we are working to build a new demonstration garden next to the hospital that will help Petit Trou stay healthy and strong, from the inside out.
GIRLS’ EMPOWERMENT WORKSHOP
AMOUNT: $100
A gift of $100 supports workshops and after-school activities for girls and young women in our Girls’ Empowerment Program. With your support, girls are exposed to a variety of subjects, including photography, storytelling, financial literacy, mental health, human rights, and more.
one beehive for a local FARMER
AMOUNT: $200
A gift of $200 provides one bee hive, as well as training and technical support, for a farmer in Petit Trou. Bee hives are important for pollination and also provide important economic benefit to the families and cooperatives that own these hives, earning on average $350 in a year by selling honey.
One year of school for a preK-12 student
Amount: $350
A gift of $350 supports education for a student at St. Paul’s School. Enrollment is now at 622 students, a 35 percent increase from two years ago, this caused by internal migration as families flee the violence of Port au Prince for the relative safety of the countryside. As St. Paul’s grows, help us continue to provide high quality education.
Support the salary for Locally Haiti’s health coordinator at the new hospital
Amount: $1,000

This position will mainly focus at the new hospital playing a clinical role as well as providing continuing education for community health workers.
